A Royal Moment for Polly the Pack Rat –

That day was one of those rare, unforgettable days in life, that you never quite imagine happening – until it does.
On my 46th birthday (my lucky number, no less), while hosting a visit from Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Edinburgh at our property grounds, in connection with the support we provide to our equine-therapy charity of choice, Opening Gaits, I had the extraordinary honour of presenting a thank you gift in recognition of her support – a signed copy of my children’s book, Polly the Pack Rat.

The Duchess graciously extended her hand, warmly accepted the book, and in that moment, a dream I didn’t even know I had became real. A royal photographer captured the exchange — a keepsake I will treasure forever.
As an author, you hope your stories might travel far beyond your own reach, finding their way into hands and hearts you may never know.
