Polly the Pack Rat is my first children’s book published with an inaugural debut at the LA Festival of Books in April, 2023. My daughter told me about a fire at school one day when I picked her up – in a parent’s car, and the fire trucks had to come to put it out…I was a single Mom then, and struggling, and I wrote the tale on Knox Mountain while she frolicked with our lab, Shooter. It was 10 years later, when she was graduating school, that I blew the dust off and said what the heck, let’s go for it and get Polly out to the World!! This story is a heart-warming tale of grit, adventure and a stroke of good luck that sees Polly find a safe, secure place to be! THE AUTHOR WILL DONATE $ 1 FROM EACH BOOK SALE TO THE BRITISH COLUMBIA PROFESSIONAL FIRE FIGHTERS’ BURN FUND: www.burnfund.org

She was an absolute hit!

Big Blue Bay is my second children’s book undergoing final illustrations phase with an expected release date of Fall 2025. It is based off ocean adventures had in the Pacific West Coast off Vancouver Island, BC and specifically – a story shared to me about a dog accidentally pulling its owner off the dock and into the sea, LOL [he was OK], after spying some unexpected goodies floating by…

Liar-Liar, Skier Doer! This hilarious tale follows the true-story of a young man (known to our family through a child connection), that adopts fictious career vocations – still to this day! – every time he rides the ski chair lift. While he naturally grows out of this trait and raises his own family, he ends up catching his young son copying him, LOL… the story touches on the full-cycle-of-life concept, introducing ageing and compassion to young readers. Slated for late 2025 release.
