Stories come to me some-times on the waters of the West Coast of British Columbia, other-times in southern Alberta where I roam and call home part-time, or during my travels north and south, and overseas, or sometimes to my birthplace in the Canadian Rockies.
The journalist in me loves to interview, and collect stories and ideas, from those I meet along the way, wherever I go!! I also enjoy a senior corporate career downtown Calgary, AB impacting others thru post-secondary skills trades-training.
As part of our philanthropic efforts, my husband and I are proud to support Opening Gaits, a well-established charity that operates from our riding arenas and grounds in DeWinton, AB. With the help of their dedicated volunteers, Opening Gaits delivers equine-therapy programs for children, families, and adults facing a variety of unique challenges and life circumstances. Each participant benefits deeply from the healing connection between horse and rider, further enriched by the serene, natural setting of Hansen Haven.
Our time here is brief, but with good fortune, we have every reason to shine brightly and give deeply.
